Wild About Flowers Retirement Card

Do you know anyone who is retiring soon? Specialty stamp sets, like for a retirement, can be hard to find. Stampin’ Up’s new Wild About Flowers stamp set is perfect for retirement and any new adventure in someone’s life, like a new job or home.

I could have chosen a lot of colors for the flowers on this retirement card, but there’s a specific reason I chose Delightful Dijon. The reason…because it’s not my favorite color! Sometimes I have to use something a few times before I decide how much I love it, so I got out the Delightful Dijon and got to work!

I used two shades of yellow (Delightful Dijon and So Saffron) and two shades of green (Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz) to add some depth and dimension.

The results of forcing myself to use Delightful Dijon…I like it! If I use it a few more times I might decide I love it!

Ha ha, I was deciding also if I liked it and that brought me to your blog! You’ve certainly brought out the best here, and the 4 colours work well together. Lovely designed card, and one up for dd!
