Sunday Funday – Two Pumpkin Card Ideas

Sharing is caring!

It’s Sunday Funday!!! I have two cute pumpkin card ideas to share and today’s question is simple…

Which card is your favorite?

I have a hard time keeping cards ‘clean and simple’ but I did keep one simple today. Some people prefer the simple look, so I’m interested to know how many of you will prefer that one.

Two pumpkin card ideas made with the Stampin' Up! Gourd Goodness stamp set. One clean and simple card and one that is stepped up.

I made these cards with our brand new, hot-off-the-press, Gourd Goodness stamp set and also used the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits dies on the stepped-up version. Here is the clean and simple version.

And here is the stepped-up card. See the gold patterned paper in the background? That’s from the Bundle of Love designer paper pack. It was the perfect backdrop for this card.

Both are beautiful, but the 2nd version is my favorite! I just love the added shine from the gold accents! Awesome stamp set!

I like the simple version because nothing detracts attention from the pumpkins. Interesting use of Cajun Craze as one of the pumpkin colors. I would not have thought of that, but it blends beautifully.

I actually stamped off when using the Cajun Craze, because it was a bit too dark if I didn’t. You’re right – the simple version puts the entire focus on the pumpkins, and they deserve it. Thanks for commenting!
