We can’t forget about the Ornate Garden designer series paper, which is the focal point of today’s card projects. The gold foil accents are my favorite!

Prepping To Create

To prepare for today’s projects, I folded the already scored cards from my pack of Note Cards & Envelopes. I stamped some greetings from the Ornate Thanks stamp set onto strips of white paper using Mint Macaron, Terracotta Tile, and Old Olive inks. I also had strips and scraps of paper from the designer paper pack on hand to use.

Let’s Make Some Cards

To create these cards, I trimmed a few pieces of designer paper to the appropriate size for the card front, and then I started adding scraps of different shapes and sizes. I played around with the designs and rearranged them until I liked how they looked. I never know exactly what I’m going to create when I begin, but as I craft something always evolves.
