Have I told you lately how much I love Paper Pumpkin? Paper Pumpkin you say…what is that? Paper Pumpkin is a craft subscription box that you can sign up for to receive once, or once every month until you decide otherwise. Looking back at past years, the September kit is often one of the favorites of the entire year. At least as far as my memory serves me, it has always been a kit to make treat holders for Halloween, and this year’s September kit was just that. It’s to make adorable Halloween treat boxes, and they are up there in the ranks of some of our best Paper Pumpkin kits in my opinion! Here it is – the September 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Bone Appetit!

The boxes folded up simply. Then it was time to make the two different tags – half with smiley skeletons and half with the skulls and spiderwebs. The pieces were pre-punched and I simply popped them out of the sheets. Then I stamped the greetings and assembled them. The boxes clip shut at the top with mini clothespins, and I attached a hand to the front side of each one, so the hand actually clips them shut! So much fun!

I can’t wait to see what October’s kit will be! Stampin Up has told us that the October and November kits are going to be coordinating products, and they are holiday themed. I’m sure at least one of them will be for cards which will help me check a few more of those cards off my list for the many I need to make! Are you a Paper Pumpkin subscriber? If not, the next two months would be a fantastic time to try it. Whatever is included, it’s sure to be helpful when the holidays roll around. Learn more about Paper Pumpkin and subscribe here.

I should mention that only half of the treat boxes included in September’s kit are shown here. I saved the other half for my daughters to help assemble and we haven’t found time to do it yet. They helped with last year’s Paper Pumpkin Halloween treat holders and absolutely loved it. It might be a new tradition!
