A Rustic Wreath Card with the Stampin’ Up! Sprig Punch

Sharing is caring!

Thanks for joining me today everyone! I want to take a moment to tell you that you are lovely. This world is full of so much negativity and we need to do a better job of filling ourselves with good thoughts. The reason I’m telling you today that you are lovely, is because I was thinking about how lovely today’s card is, and I think you’re deserving of it because you are lovely. This is one of those cards that after I finished it, I just wanted to stare at it all day long, and the day after that, and the day after that! I’m sure you cardmakers out there understand. You make something pretty and then just want to stare at it, or… keep it for yourself forever! So anyway, I think today’s card is lovely, and I made it for you…all of you lovely crafters. What I think makes this card so pretty is the softness of it. I used the Stampin’ Up! Sprig Punch for the wreath and punched from the Share What you Love designer paper. The result…lovely.

A quick note before we get back to the card, Stampin’ Up! has our World Cardmaking Day Sale going on for just a few more days. Make sure to check it out. A sale that includes kits and adhesives is a pretty good one in my book.

As for the wreath card, here is the Stampin’ Up! Sprig Punch that I used to make the wreath.

Stampin' Up! Spring Punch

I punched sprigs out of the Share What You Love specialty paper pack. It is so much prettier in person than you can appreciate here. It has gorgeous pearlescent accents on many of the prints.

The card base was embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder, and I lightly sponged Soft Suede ink over the top to enhance the woodgrain. After creating the wreath, I stamped the greeting from the Falling From Leaves set and punched it with the Duet Banner Punch. Can you see the Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems I added? They made for a nice finishing touch.
