We all like a little bit of new every once in a while, right? New clothes, new home decor, or a new color of paint on the walls can really provide some cheer and give us a little pep in our step, right? With each new catalog release, Stampin Up gives us many new products to spice up our stamping routine, and each Annual Catalog gives us new excitement in the form of new colors. Before I talk about our In Colors, I want to mention that colors, in and of themselves, are one of the wonderful things about Stampin Up products. All of our products coordinate, meaning that you can get Real Red or Night of Navy or Daffodil Delight in a stamp pad, cardstock, marker, Blends alcohol marker, designer paper, ribbon, and embellishments, and they will all coordinate. I’m not sure if this benefit is easy to understand, but I’ll share a story from my past to illustrate.

Prior to my SU days, I used products mostly from a different company that did not have standard colors. As a result, I spent a lot of time before I even starting crafting to find pieces and parts that would look good together. This was a lot of time I could have been spending crafting, but I wasn’t because I was trying to match things that didn’t match. I no longer do that. (Cue the sunshine and happy music) If I’m using a designer paper with 3 colors in it, I choose the coordinating cardstock, ink, and embellishments quickly and get on with making my project! This is seriously a lifesaver when it comes to making stamping easier, faster, and more fun. And that’s what stamping is, fun, right? Do yourself a favor, and choose colors that match and will make your life easier!

I’ll briefly explain our color program to you, in case you’re new to Stampin Up. We offer 40 standard colors including four color collections of ten colors each. These collections include the Regals, Brights, Neutrals, and Subtles. The colors in these collections will be in our line of products for years to come.

The In Colors are different. In Colors are part of our product line for two years, and we introduce five new In Colors each year. We are retiring the 2018-2020 In Colors, while we will continue offering the 2019-2021 In Colors for one more year. The colors I’m revealing today are our new Stampin Up 2020-2022 In Colors. They will be released with the new catalog on June 3, and they will be in our line of products for two full years.
