Do you struggle with how to get your cards to lay flat when you crease them? If so, I have a quick tip to share today that will be life-changing, well, at least when it comes to your card making projects!

How To Get Your Cards To Lay Flat

First, do NOT use the bone folder as shown below, with the pointed end of the bone folder on the card fold. I used to do this, because it’s what I saw other people do, but it just doesn’t work most of the time!

Instead, use the bone folder as shown below, with much of the tool laying over top of the card as you run it the length of the crease. Apply pressure at the back end of the tool, over top of the crease.

That’s it! It’s flat!
