Balloon Builders Minion Card

I just keep rolling on through these new products, trying them out one by one. It’s so much fun to have new toys! I’m working on ideas for my next card class and I’m thinking that we might make this card but I’m not sure. I’ll have to think on that and see what else I come up with between now and then! Today I’m highlighting the Balloon Builders stamp set. I made a flower card with it last week, but I wanted to try making an animal card. Somehow my animal card turned into a Minion card! I’m not sure how that happened!

I’ll tell you right away that I’m not a good enough artist to come up with this Minion all by myself. I looked up pictures of balloon animal minions and basically copied what one of them looked like. If you think this stamp set is cute but you’re not sure you could come up with ideas for using it, I highly suggest a Google images search for ‘balloon animals’ or ‘monkey balloon animals’ or ‘puppy balloon animals’ or ‘octopus balloon animals’ or…ok you get the idea. I’m sure Pinterest will be full of ideas soon too. Just search for ‘Stampin Up Balloon Builders.’ The same goes for any other stamp set you need ideas for.

The confetti stamp and ‘Let’s Party’ on the inside of the card came from the Party with Cake stamp set. It’s a cute one too. I punched out the balloon on the front using our new Balloon Bouquet punch.
