Amethyst Birthstone Challenge Card

Sharing is caring!

I’ve been forcing myself to take a little break from holiday projects, because there are still many other occasions we need cards for…birthdays, thinking of you, sympathy, etc. At this point, the only way to drag myself away from our amazing holiday products is to find a stamping challenge that gives me a little inspiration. The challenge for today’s project was to make a card using the color of my birthstone (amethyst) plus one neutral color. I cheated and used white and gold for my neutrals, but I just couldn’t pass up that gold mat. Here it is.

I stamped the calla lilies from the Remarkable You stamp set onto Shimmery White cardstock using our new Archival Basic Black ink. Then I used an aqua painter to ‘paint’ the lilies using Elegant Eggplant, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow ink.
