Welcome! Is spring officially upon us? Here in Northern Indiana, we’ve already had our annual spring time change leaving us with bright and sunny mornings. And with the onset of warmer weather comes one of the most beautiful days of the year, Easter. Today, I have a lovely Easter card created from Stampin Up’s Springtime Joy. If you recognize this card, that’s because it was one of sixteen card featured at my recent Stamp Camp. This #simplestamping card is as easy to make as it is cute, so let’s get started.
Stampin Up Springtime Joy Stamp Set
Here’s a picture of the Springtime Joy stamp set. As you can see, it includes an adorable little lamb, bunny rabbit and chick. It also includes accents stamps like an Easter basket with eggs, flowers and a butterfly. Some of the sayings it includes are, “Easter is a lovely reminder of new beginnings”, “Welcome Spring”, and “May the new life of spring bring you joy.”
Up next, I’ll share the project I made with this card along with measurements and instructions.
Springtime Joy Card Sample
Below are the cardstock pieces you can prepare ahead of time to make this card.
Measurements:
- 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Purple Posy Card Base
- 4″ x 5 1/4″ White Cardstock
- 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ White Cardstock
- 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ White Cardstock
Instruction:
The Springtime Joy card is simple and quick to put together. It would be easy to cut out multiples of each piece and assemble several cards at the same time.
First, stamp the lamb on the 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ white cardstock piece and color with Stampin Up’s Color Blends Markers. Next, with the flower, stamp across the 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ strip of white cardstock, color with the color blends markers and adhere to the Purple Posy card base. Adhere lamb piece on top of flower strip and add greeting.
