I’ll start by sharing my favorite way to find color ideas…my Color Coach.

My Favorite Color Inspiration Tool – The Color Coach

My Color Coach is something I created by printing a document that is published by Stampin Up each year. After printing it, I cut apart the sections, punched holes, and attached them together with a ring. This is so helpful! When I’m not sure what colors to use, I can flip through for inspiration. Even if you don’t use Stampin Up ink colors, this would be a great resource for you, because you can use similar colors in your collection.

Make Your Own Color Coach

If you have different colors in your collection or you just want your own color combinations on hand, you can always create our own Color Coach by using a small punch to punch paper samples and glue them to cards or notebook paper. You can even label your colors if you like.

More Inspiration!

Here’s a bonus tip. Sometimes I’m not sure how to use a stamp set, so I search online to find photos, paintings, or clip art to give me ideas. If I’m using a ladybug stamp and I’m not sure where to put the different colors, I would search for ‘ladybug clip art.’ This inspired this card.
