Stampin Up Country Bouquet & 9 Creative Ways To Use Hearts

Sharing is caring!

As a crafter, we have to look at the special occasions coming up and prepare ahead of time to be ready! Valentine’s Day will be upon us before we know it! I don’t often use hearts and ‘lovey’ things on cards, and I’m guessing I’m not the only one, so I decided to use this as a reason to inspire you to use more hearts! For these projects, I used the new Stampin Up Country Bouquet bundle and came up with 9 creative ways to use hearts on your card projects. Let’s take a look at them!

9 Creative Ways To Use Hearts On Your Card Projects!

1. Layer Them

For this card, I used the larger heart stamp as the lower layer, and added a heart punched from vellum on top. I love how you can still see the lower layer through the vellum. Watch along with the video for a tip about using the Stamparatus to line up the two-step heart stamps for repeat stamping.

2. Create A Flower

Hearts make perfect flower petals!

I used the Country Floral Lane designer paper, punched straight from it, and used the punched pieces to make the flower shown above.

3. Alternating Heart Strip

This is one of my favorite ways to use hearts! Alternate hearts that are right-side-up and upside-down.

4. Corner Decoration

The shape of the lower portion of a heart is perfect to fit into a corner and add a bit of decoration, as shown on this card.

5. Create A Single Heart Flower

The stamp and punch bundle I’m using is designed to create these lovely heart flowers, but you could piece one together for another heart set as well. Isn’t this cute? You can even add a stem and place the leaves along it.
