Here’s a question for you. Do you find it difficult to create “cute” masculine cards? Okay, maybe “cute” isn’t the right word, but I think you know what I mean — good-looking cards for all the men in your life. If you’ve had this struggle too, I have a solution for you in Stampin Up’s Handsomely Suited stamp set and coordinating Suit & Tie die set. Recently, my daughter and I were working on crafts, and we made a card from the Well Suited Suite. It was so enjoyable and today I want to share this card with you. Check it out.

First, here’s a look at the Handsomely Suited stamp set and Suit & Tie die set which I used to create this card.

Stampin Up Handsomely Suited Stamp Set

The Handsomely Suited stamp and die set can be found in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. It features two neck tie stamps, masculine-looking greetings as well as a couple bowties. The coordinating Suit & Tie die set is a really great set with a lot of details. It features accessories to make a suit, ties and bowties, as well as a pocket and buttons. There are even pieces to make suspenders. Seriously, how neat is that?

I’ve seen this set used to make uniforms, doctors coats, and other amazing apparel. What other ideas can you think of for using it?

Now check out the Father’s Day card my daughter and I made with this set. Keep reading for a list of measurements and instructions.

Here are a few pieces you can cut and prepare ahead of time for this card.

Measurements:

  • 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Night of Navy Card Base, folded in half
  • 4″ x 5 1/4″ White Cardstock
  • 1 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ White Cardstock
  • 4″ x 4″ Well Suited Designer Series Paper
  • Tie and Pocket Die Cuts

Once these pieces are prepared, the card comes together quickly. After adhering the Well Suited Designer Paper to the card base, I used foam dimensionals to give the pocket, tie and greeting a 3D effect. For a full tutorial on this card, visit my video below!
