Stampin Up Garden Wishes & 3 Quick And Easy Card Ideas

Sharing is caring!

Today I have a #simplestamping project to share! #Simplestamping is a great way to get introduced into stamping because it focuses on the basics – stamps, ink, and paper without the fuss of complicated projects. The simple designs are easy to achieve, but they certainly don’t lack in beauty and quality. For these projects, I’ll be using the Stampin Up Garden Wishes stamp set. This set has beautiful images and greetings. Let’s take a look

Here’s a look at Stampin Up’s Garden Wishes stamp set. It includes beautiful dandelion images, seeds blowing in the wind, a bee, and several greetings and sayings. This set is perfect for #simplestamping because it includes big and beautiful images as well as the greetings.

3 Quick & Easy Card Ideas Video

Take a look at the video below, where I show how to quickly and easily make all 3 of these cards!

You may have noticed in the first tutorial, I used one of the best tools ever, the Stamparatus. You don’t have to use it, but I find it nice to be able to line up my stamps perfectly, especially for making multiples of the same card.

For each of these cards, I used a basic 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ card base. On card #1 and card #3, I used an additional 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of cardstock.

Card #1

I absolutely love how this card turned out. It’s simple, pretty, and has a clean crisp feel.

Card #2

Browns are beautiful on any card, and I love tone on tone with this simple card. I also love how the texture stamps around the edges turned out using the Stamping Off technique.

Card #3

This card is so bright and cheery with the cardstock colors I chose. In the video I shared a tip for how to ink the dandelion stamp with white ink on the seeds and green on the leaves, then stamp both at the same time.

Here’s another look at all three cards. I did add a few embellishments for a little extra touch.
