Tuesday Tip: Using the Project Life Corner Punch

Sharing is caring!

It’s time for another Tuesday Tip! Today’s tip is very basic, but helpful if you use the Project Life Corner Punch.

Tips for Using the Project Life Corner Punch

Have you ever used this punch, and you end up with a ‘not perfect’ punched corner like the one shown above? If so, here’s an easy solution.

Insert a piece of cardstock into the punch. Make sure it’s in all the way, and that it’s flush against the guides where the paper should line up. Press the punch firmly enough to hold the paper in place, but not hard enough to punch through the paper. Flip the punch over and mark a dot with permanent marker where the corner of the paper is pointing. See the black dot in the photo below?

From now on, you’ll have a dot to help you line up your paper. I use my punch exactly as shown – upside down. It’s easy to see that my paper is lined up correctly when the corner points towards the dot.

I am desperately searching for one of the corner punches that Stampin Up made for Project Life. Is there any chance you may have one?
