In the Meadow Thank You Card

Sharing is caring!

It’s official! I received my pre-order yesterday for the new Occasions catalog and I got to open it up and start playing with all of my fun new toys! I put together this fun video if you want to see some sneak peeks. If you don’t, just sit tight and wait until your catalog arrives.

If you haven’t purchased from me recently (or ever) and would like to request a catalog, please comment at the bottom of this post or get in touch with me another way. I’ll get one to you as soon as I can!

Now on to today’s card which I actually made last night. I wanted to make something but I was exhausted from being under the weather plus cutting and putting up our Christmas tree yesterday. I looked at all of my fun new supplies and decided to use the In the Meadow stamp set to make a simple card. Here it is.

I love the beautiful images in the In the Meadow stamp set. They include a mountain range, trees, wildflowers, the deer, grass and butterflies.

I stamped the images onto shimmery white cardstock using Memento black ink. Then I used aqua painters to add color to the images. I used the shimmery white cardstock because it works well with the aqua painters. The water and ink don’t soak in as fast which allows you to do more blending before they soak in and become permanent.

Check back for more sneak peeks as well as highlights of soon-to-be retired products! If you plan to order, use hostess code Y4HGVHEJ and I will send you a free gift! Even better, sign up for stamp club and you will get free projects and free stamps!

I love what you did with this card! I would love to share this on my blog for ‘My Crafty Friends Monday’ (a round up of amazing cards from amazing stampers!)! Please let me know if you would prefer that I didn’t share it (of course I give you credit and link back to your blog!).
    Inky Hugs!
