ICS Blog Hop Knotty Ways – Holiday Sneak Peek Day 6 – Ready for Christmas

Welcome to this month’s ICS blog hop – Knotty Ways. All Along the hop, you will see amazing Christmas projects to get you in the mood to start thinking about the holidays! I have a great card to share featuring our new Ready for Christmas set!

Yes, it might be a little early for the holidays, but for all of you crafters out there, you know that if you want to have a handmade holiday, it’s time to start thinking about it soon. A few weeks ago, I was extremely lucky and truly blessed to get to attend the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Thailand. While I was there, they showered us with all sorts of amazing gifts, some of which (of course) were new products from the Holiday Catalog. Because of that, I had a lot of holiday products to choose from for today’s project. In fact, all this week I am doing sneak peeks of items that are going to be in our Holiday Catalog. Today is actually day five of my week of sneak peeks. Here’s what I put together.

I made this card with the Ready for Christmas Bundle that includes the Ready for Christmas stamp set and Christmas Staircase thinlits dies. When I saw the sample projects made with this set, I was absolutely blown away. Mind blown. For real. That’s why I wanted to showcase this set during today’s hop.

Can you believe all the pieces that come in this set? I think it’s amazing. I don’t think the Stampin’ Up! creative team left anything out of this set. They included a Christmas tree, the evergreen garland, stockings, ornaments, the star, cookies for Santa, the nosy puppy dog wearing an ugly/cute Christmas sweater, the lovely staircase, and some beautiful artwork for the wall…not to mention some nice greetings. Amazing.

As you can see above, I decided to make this a tri-fold card, so that the recipient has several layers to open up before getting to the greeting inside. I’m planning to make a video to show how to do the special fold on this card, with the tree and staircase attached on each side. If you would like to see it, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to see the video when I post it.
